If an Instructor Trainee is not able to complete the minimum requirements for Belt attainment, any remaining hours will be billed at their regular private lesson rate / fee per hour either with that instructor, or any other qualified BBS™ instructor.

Baby Blue Belt – Instructor Assistant
Description: Instructor-in-training, serving as an “Apprentice” to Primary Instructor(s) for Group Classes. Duration of apprentice-ship is up the to school
Hours: Individual School’s Decision
White Belt – Intro
White Belt Certified prior to 2012. Coaches may choose to certify as BBS Professional Instructors through the upper Belt Levels
Hours: Contact Edie to upgrade you to your appropriate Instructor Level
Purple Belt – Instructor Trainee
Description: How to Teach Groups and Privates. At this level, a student will have gone through the initial minimum of 24 to 30 hours of core instructor training.
Hours: 20 Hours of Physical Training hours to date
Blue Belt – Primary Instructor
Description: How To Teach both lead and follow of the the SYLLABUS CURRICULUM.
At this level, a student will have passed the minimum 24 to 30 hours of training on the fundamentals of teaching, coaching, the BBS course syllabus, and student class management
Hours: 30 Hours of Physical Training (50 Hours of Physical Training to date)
Brown Belt – Senior Instructor
Master of Spins (2nd pass of the curriculum with Spins applied)
Description: At this level, a student will have passed the minimum 24 to 30 hours of advanced instructor training on both lead and follow, of SPINS. They have the option of teaching instructor courses or regional workshops, directing studios and/or becoming state or regional representatives.
Hours: 30 Hours of Physical Training to date (80 hours of training to date)
Red Belt – Chief Trainer – Master of Men and Women’s Styling (3rd pass of the curriculum with Spins applied)
Description: Have passed the minimum 24 to 30 hours of advanced instructor training on both lead and follow, of STYLING. They have the option of teaching instructor courses or regional workshops, directing studios and/or becoming state or regional representatives.
Hours: 30 Hours of Physical Training (100 hours of training to date)

Description: How to Profit in a Major Way. May be taken at any time as part of, or outside of the Black Belt physical training program. The DBM is a requirement for Red /Black Belt. Description: DBM Certified, and Local Expert. Have proven personal integrity, trust and commitment to the Black Belt System and DBM Academy. Provide leadership insight and strength to the system, their regional teams, and studios worldwide
Hours: 80 Hours of Physical Training (140 hours of Physical Training to date)
